These Terms are a binding agreement between you and General Magick Industries Pte Ltd (“General Magick”, “we”, “us”), 100 Tras Street, 100 AM, Singapore.
By installing, accessing, or using the Magick Whisper mobile app (the “App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Definitions

2. What the App does
Magick Whisper is a dog-care companion app. In this version it provides:
- Setup — you enter your dog's name, breed, weight and age.
- Learn — a library of courses and articles on dog care.
- Account — optional sign-in with Apple or Google so your dog profile and progress follow you to a new device.
- Settings — review your dog and account, redo setup, sign out, or delete your account.
The App is an educational and organisational tool. It is not a veterinary service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
4. Your account
Sign-in is optional. You may use setup and Learn without an account; your data then stays on your device only.
If you do sign in:
- You authenticate through Apple or Google. We never see or store your password.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your Account.
- You may sign out at any time, and delete your Account at any time from Settings → Delete account.
Deleting your Account removes your sign-in, your Dog Profile, and your Learn progress. This cannot be undone.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the information you enter — your Dog Profile above all.
You grant General Magick a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and transmit that information solely to operate the App for you: to save your dog, sync it between your devices, and keep your Learn progress.
We do not publish your Dog Profile, sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train models.
6. Our content
Learn Content, the App's design, code, text, illustrations, trade marks and logos are owned by General Magick or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law.
You may use Learn Content for your own personal, non-commercial dog care. You may not copy, republish, resell, or redistribute it without our written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where local law expressly permits it;
- access the App by automated means, or attempt to interfere with, overload, or disrupt our systems;
- circumvent any security, rate limit, or authentication measure;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of animal-welfare law;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or Learn Content;
- impersonate another person, or use another person's Account.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately for a serious or repeated breach.
8. Not veterinary or professional advice
This matters, so read it.
Learn Content is general educational reading. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a qualified veterinarian.
- Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your dog's health, diet, behaviour, or medication.
- In an emergency, contact a vet or emergency animal service immediately — do not rely on the App.
- You are solely responsible for your dog's welfare and for how you apply anything you read here.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may add, remove, or revise Learn Content.
The App is provided free of charge in this version. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you before they apply to you, and you will not be charged without agreeing first.
The App requires an internet connection for sign-in and syncing. Some features may be unavailable offline.
10. Third-party services
The App uses:
- Sign in with Apple — Apple Inc.
- Google Sign-In — Google LLC
Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.
11. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those places, this section applies only so far as the law allows, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- General Magick is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill, or business.
- General Magick is not liable for harm to your dog, to you, or to any person or animal arising from how you act on Learn Content.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) SGD 100.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless General Magick, its officers, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it, and may delete your Account from Settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we discontinue the App.
Sections 5–8 and 11–16 survive termination.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms — including any question about its existence, validity or termination — shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under its Rules in force at the time, which are incorporated by reference. The seat is Singapore, the tribunal is one arbitrator, and the language is English.
Where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, this section does not remove it.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the version number and effective date above, and publish the new version at magickguardian.com/terms.
For a material change we will give reasonable notice in the App or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App after that date means you accept the new Terms.
17. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the App.
- Severability. If any part is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may, to an affiliate or in a merger or acquisition.
