General Magick Industries Pte Ltd (“General Magick”, “we”, “us”), 100 Tras Street, 100 AM, Singapore, is the data controller for the Magick Whisper mobile app (the “App”).
This policy describes what this version of the App actually does. It is written against the shipped binary, not against features we plan to build.
1. Summary
- We collect very little: your name and email from Apple or Google if you sign in, an account ID, and your dog's profile.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
- We use no advertising networks and no third-party analytics.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.
- You can delete everything from Settings → Delete account.
2. What we collect
2.1 If you sign in (optional)

Apple sends your name and email only the first time you authorise the App. If you use Hide My Email, we receive Apple's private relay address and never see your real one.
2.2 Your dog

This is information about your dog, not about you — but it is uploaded when you are signed in, so we declare it here rather than quietly leaving it out.
2.3 Learn progress
Which courses and articles you have opened or completed, so your progress is there on your next device.
2.4 What we do not collect
The App does not ask for, access, or receive:
- location (GPS, coarse, or background)
- camera or photo library
- microphone or audio recordings
- contacts, calendar, health, or fitness data
- advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID)
- your Apple or Google password
3. If you do not sign in
Sign-in is optional. If you skip it:
- Your dog profile and Learn progress stay on your device only.
- Nothing is uploaded and no account is created.
- Deleting the App deletes that data.
4. How we use your data
We use it only to run the App:
- create and maintain your account;
- store your dog profile and sync it across your devices;
- keep your Learn progress;
- respond to your support requests;
- keep the service secure and detect abuse;
- meet legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or to train machine-learning models.

6. Who we share with
We share your data with a short list of processors, and never sell it.

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order, or a lawful government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
The App contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics SDK.
7. Where your data is stored
Data is stored in Singapore.
If we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Storage on your device

The identity tokens returned by Apple and Google are verified and then discarded — they are never written to disk.
9. How long we keep it

10. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access the data we hold about you;
- Correct it — your dog profile is editable in the App via Settings → Redo setup;
- Delete it — Settings → Delete account removes your sign-in, dog, and Learn progress;
- Object to or restrict processing;
- Port your data — request a machine-readable copy;
- Withdraw consent by signing out and deleting your account.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
11. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, email account@globalmagicko.com and we will delete it.
12. Security
- All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS.
- Session tokens are held in OS-level encrypted storage (Keychain / EncryptedSharedPreferences), never in plain files.
- Authentication is delegated to Apple and Google, so we never handle your password.
- Access to production data is limited to staff who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authority of a breach where the law requires it.
13. Tracking
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
The App's iOS privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false with no tracking domains. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to ask about.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the version and effective date above and publish the new version at magickguardian.com/privacy.
For a material change we will give notice in the App or by email before it takes effect.
